Hydrexia has signed its first commercial contract in Vietnam with KPT Chemical Group, marking a major milestone for the company’s international expansion in Southeast Asia. Under the agreement, Hydrexia will provide its magnesium-based solid-state hydrogen storage containers (MHX) and mobile hydrogen refueling stations (MHRS) to KPT, leveraging hydrogen supplied from SEDC Energy’s Darul Hana H2 Plant in Sarawak, Malaysia.
The contract follows Hydrexia’s successful regional roadshow, which demonstrated the safety, maturity, and commercial readiness of its solid-state hydrogen solutions. This partnership enables early-stage hydrogen applications across Vietnam and supports the development of a green hydrogen ecosystem encompassing production, transport, and storage. Hydrexia remains committed to working with local partners to advance the hydrogen sector in the region.
